Travel: Panama part 1

We had a FABULOUS week in Panama! ๐Ÿ˜† I had to travel there from Mon-Fri for work so I took them with me to explore the city. ๐Ÿ˜‰

We left on Sunday 2/16, Sofia’s second time flying, first time leaving the country. We waited until the last minute to get on board

she didn’t like the waiting line either ๐Ÿ˜‰

it was a full flight but Sofia behaved quite well… we kept her busy with all the snacks we bought. She literally spent 3 out of 5 hrs of the flight eating puffs, crackers, blueberries, clementines and cheese. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

when we arrived she was really tired (she didn’t had her morning nap) so slept the whole time that we waited to pass the immigration and luggage

after a short taxi ride we arrived Intercontinental Miramar. It locates on the coast line of the city, big room, nice amenities

after changing to summer cloth and a quick stop to supermarket for some necessities, we went to Casco Viejo (old city)

Sofia was excited to explore

we decided to try panamanian food for dinner, a place called Diablico

IMG_9380

seriously waiting to taste new tastes

IMG_9387

I ordered a dish with pulled pork with vegetables, rice with bean and fried platano

IMG_9389

mom had a seemingly paella dish

IMG_9390

Sofia had a taste of both and surprised us with her big appetite

IMG_9395

as always, she made a mess too

IMG_9403

there was street music that we all enjoyed

Monday to Friday I had meetings all day long so I only get to spend time with them when having breakfast and dinner. Sofia loved the buffet

IMG_9407

Panama is summer all year long and it is still very warm when I come back, so we get to enjoy the beautiful ย pool together

they have a baby pool where Sofia can stand by herself and doesn’t need floatie

IMG_0753

she ABSOLUTELY loves water! So much that everytime we pull her out, she’d scream
