Hey there~ I finally had a normal day: 8 hours of work at home, a lot of yummy food prepared by Mom, the official chef in this house π― yes, I’ve been replaced π
Updates of the accident: my car was determined as “IRREPARABLE“, so it will go to the total loss process, eventually they’ll pay me $$ to get a new car. Well…. maybe this accident ends up in a good way, you know.. getting a new car π
Breakfast: flaxseed porridge with extra flaxmeal topped with raspberries and 2 tbsp of homemade almond butter. I finished the jar so time to make another batch! Tutorial to come! π
Look my work station at home. Yes I need both phones to get calls from the insurance company π¦ And kabocha of course! π
While my mom played in the kitchen with a full fridge
Lunch: another chinese meal.
sauteed chinese mustard with garlic
lotus stir fry with tofu
yellow fish with chinese pickles
sauteed green beans
brown rice with seaweed
Look how my parents wait for me to take pics before starting to eat. It’s funny to see that even my parents have incorporated mindlessly blogger behavior, wait for the pics before start to eat.
no juice? of course not! Now I have juice as snack instead of first thing in the morning. Look this beauty: my favorite combo so far! π It has romaine lettuce, celery, cucumber, lemon, ginger and an apple.
After I finished work around 5.30PM Mom and I went out for an hour of walking, the only physical activity that I can do now. π¦ The doctor told me not to do any muscle work because my neck and shoulder are really tight. It was a nice walk, I enjoyed it a lot, especially having Mom chatting with me. π
Dinner was to finish leftovers from lunch. I was in charge of the lotus. I add a package of konjac noodles and baby spinach.
Finally, my first hug-a-carb pic! Katie is such a genius to have awesome ideas like this!!! π
Obviously KABOCHA is the #1 carb love~~~ :D, I’m sure Maggie would agree.
Q1: Weekend plan? It’s memorial Columbus day sale, so I’m taking my parents to do some shopping!
Q2: Other than food blogs, which other blogs do you read in a daily basic?
Haha love the kabocha photo π
Aww Coco it’s so cute :)!!!
And I’m so sorry about your car, but I admire your optimistic outlook about it.
Love,
Katie
Memorial day? Do you mean Columbus Day ? π
I read many blogs on a daily basis, but they are mainly food and exercise related!! Some businesses too…but not on a daily basis. My friend has a movie blog, but she barely updates it.
So there are Chinese pickles? I bet I would love them! I do have a slight pickle addiction. I can’t believe how full your fridge is, and I LOVE how your parents have been trained to wait for pictures π Too funny. Nick is the same way.
B sure to really take whatever your doctor says about your neck/back seriously (I know you would). My mom got in the smallest little wreck about 20 years ago and she is still in pain from it because she didn’t really take it seriously (she had no idea it effected her so much!).
Have a great weekend Coco.
You have loads of the same containers in your fridge. I always use sealable containers.
Aww I’m sorry about your car.
I love this last picture though.
π
xox
All of that food is amazing! Take it easy this weekend and enjoy the family π
I love how patient your parents are while you photograph!
Did I officially win BSI cauliflower?
Enjoy your Saturday!
I wish my workstation were that clean and organized!!! There’s nothing like a fully stocked fridge, huh? I only read food blogs–no time for any others π Oh, sometimes fitness and celebrity ones but just to skim through–I almost forgot! haha
Your Mom sure knows how to cook up a feast! WOW!
I love the picture of you….so pretty!
We have hockey later on toady and then Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow…
Oh yes, I agree π
I don’t really read other blogs, but I do look at Reddit a lot.
are you excited about a new car?! or does it suck?
you & your carb are the hottest couple I’ve ever seen π
I love the pictures of you with the kabocha!
Have a great weekend! π
LOL my parents have adopted blogger behavior as well. Whenever they see me eating a meal, they ask, “did you take a picture first?”
I read mostly food blogs, but I also follow the NYT health blog and Nike Plus running blog.
Food and health blogs are the only blogs I read…yup I’m a boring girl π
I love your Asian meals. They look so healthy and delicious.
sorry to hear that your car is totaled. total bummer π¦ you have a great attitude though! and wow nice fridge loot π your hug a carb photo rules! xo to you my dear
Your Chinese dinners make me miss having dinner with my family. I miss lotus root! I used to think it was weird as a kid, but now I miss it. You are so lucky, my dear! I love how you have dinner with your family. So wonderful!
BTW, you are beautiful! I love your picture of you hugging the kabocha. I just tried kabocha myself and I must agree with you (and Maggie), it’s divine! Love it!
Carbs are our primary source of energy we shouldn’t be afraid of them. They help us to be healthy.
