Day 7: a 30 min flight took us to Maui past noon. The rental car process was much faster and by 3pm we were at our condo, Kameole Sands.
Kameole Beach III is in front of the resort so after a stop at Safeway (crazy prices!!!) we stopped by the beach
Day 8: we stayed in the resort, attended an overview of Maui provided by the resort, enjoyed the pool
and walked around the neighbor
Day 9: We drove to the north shore of the island. First stop: Lahaina downtown. Banyan tree
Sofia loves being carried
at Wailers village, a cute shopping center by the Kaanapali beach hotel area
we enjoyed the beach path that crossed the hotel zone
such a nice beach
had a picnic lunch at the beach and continued the drive until where Dragon’s teeth is
Dragon’s Teeth is a unique rock formation located at Makaluapuna Point in Kapalua on the island’s northwestern shore
Hilton golf course
Day 10: we booked the Molokini snorkel tour. It was my first ever experience snorkeling and it was so much fun! The underwater world is so beautiful, colorful and live. I’d definitely want to do it again.
a BBQ dinner at the resort
to be continued…
Aren’t the grocery store prices in HI crazy!! I remember seeing a head of lettuce for something like $5 (for one!). And baby carrots for $7.
Looks like you guys had an awesome time 🙂
I love all your vacation pictures!
