On 3rd day we flight to Cairns, in the region of far north queensland, Australia. The city is in close proximity to the Great Barrier Reef.
On our arrival day, we visited a mini rain forest
on a water-boat truck
our driver was quite a cool guy
the next day some of tour members took the boat to get to the Green Island, and my mom and I took the Seaplane! 😉
This Downtown Cairns which has a tropical relaxing look
We took a small boat to get to our “gate” for departure. Here are our two pilots and the assistant
it was my second time flying on a small jet, still excited about the experience, specially because I’ve never experienced departure/arrival on water!
and here are the Greet Barrier Reef. The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest reef system composed of over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching for over 2,600 kilometres (1,600 mi) over an area of approximately 344,400 square kilometres (133,000 sq mi)
what an amazing view!!!!
it looks surreal, so BEAUTIFUL!!!
and then we landed at Green Island, a really tiny island with a spectacular beach!!!
I played water with some of the girls in our group
can you guess how much age difference do we have?
These pics can’t show how beautiful it is the place, so here’s a short video of the flight and the island. Enjoy~~~ 🙂
