Sunday was a blast and the highlight was spending four hours at the Adventure Park at Sandy Spring. This aerial forest adventure is fun, exciting and safe for all participants. We provide a harness and equipment and give you a safety briefing that demonstrates how to climb in the park. There are 10 separate courses of varying levels of difficulty. Each course has zip lines but primarily consist of “bridges” between tree platforms made of rope, cable and wood configurations creating over 150 unique challenges. You will develop skills, endurance, and confidence during your time in the Park. Trained Adventure Park staff members monitor the Park and are there to assist if needed.
What a great place to spend a Sunday? A real forest!
I put the gears
got through a mini safety/instruction course
ready to go
scared and excited
wasn’t bad 😉
after few bridges, I felt more confident 😉
and enjoyed a lot the “zip lines”
this was the toughest ladder… so far apart
a test to balance
a test to balance and strength
this was one of the toughest one
this was the last bridge and a real test to arm and shoulder strength
I was totally done! I did 1 beginner, 3 intermediate and 1 advanced. SOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! 😆 What we like the most was that every time you see a new bridge, you have to figure out how to pass through it. There’s more than one way to pass it and you have to find your easiest one! 😉
and it is also a great total body workout. I’m still sore…. much more than any fitness class!
After shower we went to dinner at Rice. Some photo shooting while waiting the food to come
Star had the all-time-favorite-soup: chicken soup with bok choy
and spiced duck as entree
I had lemon grass soup with shrimp and papaya salad
What a fun Sunday!!! I want more adventure!!!! 😆
