Fresh market, Japanese food and my favorite quick meal

Every time I am in Shanghai, I like going to the fresh market first thing in the morning with my mom to buy fresh vegetables for the day.

Look these fresh mushrooms… they’re so pretty

the market is always crowdy

only seasonal vegetables can be found

I’m eating 2-3 of these EVERYDAY! ๐Ÿ˜€

This is a japanese restaurant. Its decor is very typical in Japan. This is where a friend, who I met >20 years ago, and I meet every time I visit Shanghai.

  1. Yeah, you get to have your favorite corn!! And wow, all of this food looks so delicious. The Hot and Spicy Pot looks interesting….I’m not sure what everything is, but I’d be willing to try it!! I think this cuisine would be something I could definitely eat everyday. I love all the mushrooms and different fish.
I’m glad you are having a nice time Coco!
