folks from csn who sent me the bread machine a while ago let me choose another product from their huge selection of products. I picked up the 10 Quart electronic steamer
it has 3 Steamer baskets that can be stacked as it above or use it individually as below
it’s really easy to use: just pour water into the base between min and max
place the food. this time kabocha 🙂 haha… surprise! 😉

I know you might think electronic steamer is too fancy because you can steam food using microwave or pot. But you can’t deny that it’s really convenient. For a busy girl like me right now, every minute saved from cooking and cleaning means more time to relax. so… I’m really happy with this new kitchen toy and helper! 😆

I have a steamer that is very similar to yours. I don’t use it a lot, but I know once I do more cooking (and have a family) I will use it a lot. Now I typically just use my stove top!
Sounds like a great kitchen tool, especially for those of us who are steamed-veggie obsessed. 🙂 I usually just steam my veggies in a basket over the stove, but this looks much more high tech. Enjoy!
My latest toy is a refurbished KitchedAid Mixer that my mom got at a church sale for $50!

oh wow what a fantastic gadget you picked for the kitchen CoCo!! I have a steamer too and I LOOOVE it! I actually never thought to put my veggies in a bowl to put in the steamer, but that is a fantastic idea….man, i’m not very creative am i?? 😛
I don’t really have any recent new kitchen products, but i’m eating a lot of good old Chinese or Asian food here in HK though!!! hehehe
Gotta love the wonderful folks at CSN they are THE BEST! They were kind enough to give me my magic bullet and recently a steamer trunk for college. WOOT! I am so jealous though that steamer looks really cool, and there are soooo many yummy things you can do with that.
