NOW, get a pomegranate and be creative! 😀

Last 24 hs with Mom involved a major cleaning/organizing at home, specially my pantry to have a sense how much food I need to eat before I leave in 3 weeks.

Breakfast was a very berry one. I used a berry blend from my big batch of Newman’s Own products

sugar content is high as it’s expected, so I only use 2 tbsp

it was sweet but not overwhelming! Yum~~

Last lunch prepared by Mom 😦

  1. 1.) My mom = intelligent, beautiful, inspiring, creative.

2.) Just get in the kitchen and see what looks good to use in a recipe 😉

  2. Eek, I wish I were better at creating recipes. I’ve never cooked with pomegranate before.

My mom is caring, smart, and loving. I miss her a lot when I’m in St. Louis!

  3. I hope your eyes feel better today….drive safe to the airport.

My mom is the backbone of my family, she is calm and capable of calming down everybody in my house:-D that’s very important for me !haha

My mom is… amazing. She’s very strong, stubborn :P, caring, intelligent, she’s very patient with all of us and yes, she’s the person that knows me best, no doubt about it.

I suck at coming up qith recipes basically ahah but that’s because I’m a bad cook 😛

  5. Are you going to submit a Pomegranate recipe?? You should! Maybe I should make some Pom. ice cream…

My mom is kind, gentle, loving, and misunderstood. I say misunderstood because she has the personality that some people just don’t understand. Because of that she doesn’t always get the respect she deserves. She’s truly amazing though, and I couldn’t survive without her! She’s such a good mom.

Have a great day today Coco. I hope the visiting scholar is cool (I’ve had to do those before, and sometimes they aren’t so friendly and it’s kind of weird, but other times they are awesome!).

i love my mom and wish I could see her more often 🙂

I’ve already submitted my POM contest recipe (a meatloaf, but I didn’t post it on my blog yet)! But I”ll try to come up with another one to post and send to you.

  7. I bet you’re gonna miss your Mom! But you had a nice long visit which is precious…

  9. It does sound really sweet this lovely day filled with talking to mom! Don’t you feel like the older you get, the more you love your mom and love spending time with her? I feel that way! I think I would describe my mom as loving, caring, sometimes a little too protective, giving, wise, emotional, and beautiful. Hehehe I want to be like her when I become a mom, except maybe a little less protective. Haha

I come up with recipes by getting inspired by blogs! And then looking in my pantry to see what’s convenient. Hahaha Does that count?

  10. 1. My mom is fun, strong, and cool. She goes to the gym every single day and is an inspiration to eat healthy and exercise.

    2. I suck at coming up with recipes! I need to start brainstorming about POM!

  11. Those contests sound like so much fun! I’m a HUGE Pomegranate girl… what’s not to love? 🙂

Awww, so glad you got to spend some time with your mom. My mom and I definitely have our differences and don’t always get along, but we can have a great time together when we both make the effort!

    xxoo

  12. I can not tell a lie – I am not a huge fan of pomegranate *hides in shame* perhaps all the recipes will convert me a to POM lover 🙂

  13. The Pom contest sounds like fun!

Awww your mom sounds like a very sweet lady and looks like she made you a yummy meal. My mom is generous, friendly, and sort of kid-like 🙂

I usually make a recipe by trying to use up ingredients that I have at home! Don’t like to waste!

  14. Mom=my physical, spiritual, and emotional twin:)
My best recipes come from just playing around with what’s available in the kitchen.

  15. Hi! I posted a POM recipe today to enter in your POM contest 🙂
