then we went for some shopping. We went to this tea place called Lupicia Tea and I spent $80!!! 😯
I told Maggie I never had vietnamese food, so she took me to try it for lunch. We had rolls as appetizer
and I had vermicelli salad with grilled shrimp
Why I waited so long to try this food? I LOVE IT!!! 😀
We picked Sophia from the airport on our way to San Francisco.
Then Foodbuzz Festival!! We got a big care package with goodies and kitchen gadgets. In the reception, we were treated with two appetizers. Gruyere gougeres filled with mascarpone.
this was really good! And pork rillette
it was meh~ 😦
I had the pumpkin one paired with coffee ice cream provided by Straus Family Creamery. Both were super delicious!
Our first meal was beef taco, my FAVORITE of the night! I’m not a beef nor taco person, but it was so good that I had two of these.
just ok 😕
Selection of raw pizzas and cheesecake
they look nice but they taste weird to be polite 😕
my second FAVORITE of the night. Beet salad topped with blue cheese. I had 3 of these! 😀
They were provided by Spencer on the Go’s who also offered “far west fungi vol au vent” (creamy mushrooms on top of a puff thing).
It was super delicious too, Maggie was hooked! 😉
Italian pizza was another popular spot provided by Pizza Politana
Finally, after 10 min waiting on the line, we got the most popular meal for most of the attendees: pork sandwich and potatoes from Roli Roti
Maggie and I shared this but we didn’t finish it all… both of us weren’t super excited.
We got home, while Sophia and Maggie chatted I tried to do some work :(, we were up until almost 2AM! Now, Maggie’s alarm just woke her up, we’ll going for a run before heading to Foodbuzz Festival. 😀 Another exciting day ahead! 🙂
