Fun new workouts & an award!


It seems that most of you “hate” cold weather as much as I do πŸ˜‰ But we need to put it into perspective ladies, winter can be fun like enjoy more heated home, spend more time reading with a cup of tea and blanket, more family night, more baking goodies, holiday seasons, etc…. :mrgreen:

Another rainy day here in Maryland… such a bummer 😦 My productivity was way low but I did do something fun at home! Workout with free online videos! πŸ˜€

I first came crossed this website through Maggie and then Jenny mentioned a great abs work the other day, so instead of walking under the rain to the gym, I did 3 workouts at home and they were pretty fun! πŸ˜€

Kickbox 20 min to warm up. It’s not a intense workout, but fun!

Cardio yoga 20 min. Cardio & yoga? such a weird combo right? it’s basically a fast pace flow yoga serie. Dont’t expect much. I prefer series from yogadownload.com.

Incredible Abs 20 min. This one is the best! I strongly recommend you to try it. I like it because it’s not 1000 boring crunches but really intense. By the end I was totally sored but satisfied. πŸ˜†

Food section.

Breakfast: green oatmeal (oatmeal, almond milk, cinnamon, chia gel, spinach, topped with ABU and preserve)

    I like working out with workout DVDs, especially now that the weather isn’t as nice anymore. As far as my ab workout goes, quite honestly, I really have to mix things up. I do the same exercises over and over and over… I think my goal will be to mix up my ab routine! I’m going to check out the Incredible Abs link! Thanks! Just what I needed! πŸ™‚

  3. I love how you guys always have BIG bowls of food to choose from. We tend to help ourselves from the pots on the stove and then bring our plates back to the table….

  6. Love the oats and bean sprouts! I like doing workout videos every now and then but I have a tough time getting motivated to do them. I get side tracked very easily in my room! Especially now that the kitten is there jumping on me!

  7. Videos are good if I am too cold to run to the gym! My favorite ab workout is side bends with 10lb dumbells…works my love handles. πŸ˜‰

    Thanks for those workout video links! I’ll be sure to try out the abs one. I’m getting these yucky love handles from sitting all day. hahah

    My favorite workouts are always in a class. I don’t push myself hard enough when i’m working out on a machine. πŸ˜› I like Kwando (which is like cardio kickboxing) and step classes the most! OH! And I like lap swimming if the pool isn’t too cold! Hope you have a lovely Friday hun!!

  14. I worked out with videos only when the weather outside was horrible, but found it kind of annoying, with the person going “Come on, you can do it! One more, one more, go go go!” Soo….damn…irritating. Lol!

    Oh my Goodness! That oatbran…it’s…SO GREEN! FABULOUS!!
