Summer is here! So exciting!!!
I’m parent-free! So exciting!!!
(okay, don’t let my parents know that). I do love them, a lot! But I’ve got used to live alone, so having them with me 24 hrs a day in a junior apartment is tough! Having parents here is nice because I don’t have to cook, clean, laundry. But during their stay (1.5 months), I miss good sleep (right, I couldn’t sleep well 90% of the time when they were here), I miss being alone, I miss my old routines.
Mom left yesterday so today I welcomed with my favorite summer routines!
35 min morning run!

favorite combo: romaine, celery, carrot, lemon, ginger, green pepper, apple, cucumber and pinch of stevia

30 min later… I made my favorite breakfast combo: protein cake!

I’ve been changing the original recipe a lot and came to this one, which is my current favorite
- 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 whole egg + 1 egg white
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp coconut flour
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries

the whole egg and the coconut oil made it more nutritious and more filling. No more 2 hrs-later-hungriness!
I’ve been dealing with some stressful issues these days, that’s why I didn’t post. More about that later!

and i agree..i LOVE my parents, but i’m definitely at the point in life where i am happy living by myself.
This summer I am loving my new exercise routine–I split up my morning between running and swimming!
I love that after workout sweat!! IT’s awesome, right?!
Such a bummer! I need to fin a fruit that adds the same type of delicious flavor…..
Whenever anyone makes fun juicing creations they always involve apple, which I cannot eat
FAvorite summer breakfasT? So far it’s berries with greek yogurt, truvia and unsweetened cocoa powder. Delicious.
I’ve been eating a lot more cereal now that it’s warmer out. My tummy’s been protesting, though so I’ve had to cut back. :/
One summer routine that I’m happy to be back into is sitting out on the deck after dinner until dark just relaxing. So peaceful!!
