Yesterday I woke up at 4AM AGAIN, fourth day in a row… so I decided Sunday will involve NO work. I had nothing planned for the day so I wonder what to do? Oh…. yes, catch up with my mom and a friend, so I spent the morning talking and talking!!! It was great to talk to mom (we haven’t talked in >10 days) and talk to Toutou (we haven’t talked for >1 month). Inspired by the Happiness Project (sorry that I mention it over and over again! No, the author doesn’t pay me to do that, I just can’t emphasize more how it’s changing my mind
), human relationship is what brings us happiness the most!
She’s so right about it!
Breakfast involved apricot preserve that I got from Foodbuzz Festival in SF

in this tiny cute “casserole”

accompanied with the four color bean milk

and I made the first nonchinese meal in 2010!
baked salmon (Salt+wine+soy sauce+white pepper+brown sugar)

mashed cauliflower with LC and fresh parsley. Make it, it’s wonderful!!!

steamed black/purple corn

It was a delicious meal~~~ I should make it more often!

after going to the gym for 5K and 30 min yoga at home with Toutou, I offered to do Gua Sha to her!
The instrument is made by horn

apply some oil on the skin

and just scrap gently. If there’s block of Qi and/or blood, red marks appear in <3 min.

well… Toutou definitely had some blocks. Usually it feels really good after the treatment because it helps to unblock making you feel looser muscles and relieved.
As I’m writing this on Monday morning, I happily report that I had a GREAT 9 hours sleep last night!!!
Recharged to start the week!
Q: What’s your plan for Valentine’s Day?

Sounds like a good day! I love catching up with friends and especially family. I love chatting with my mom.
Valentines day plans…..well the husband and I are going out to dinner at a restaurant that we’ve never been to but heard good things about. He’s pretty romantic so I’m sure more things will be involved but he never tells me until we do it!
The apricot preserves + LC looks and sounds SO good! Wish I coulda gone to food buzz!
Valentine’s Day Plans: probably just stay home and watch a movie, I don’t have a valentine this year!
Sounds like a great day! Catching up with friends and family always makes me a feel a lot better.
No Valentine’s Day plans for me. The fella is all they way in California
Do you have any plans?
Human relationships are the key to everything in life: success, happiness, etc. That’s why it’s important to go to kindergarten—to learn to to associate with people.
That bean milk looks tasty! What exactly does it taste like? Other than the obvious answer (beans), lol. That cauliflower mash looks delicious!
Have a wonderful, energized Monday!
